Q: What is your name or online 토토사이트 ?
A: A rarity among gambling authors, I use my real name in my writing. I’m Ken Smith.
Q: What organisation or website do you represent or own?
A: I have three websites: Blackjack Info.com Slot Charts.com and Blackjack Tournaments.com
Q: Could you explain what your organisation or website offers the public?
A: Blackjack Info.com provides a Basic Strategy Engine, where you can input the blackjack rules of your favorite casino and get a free blackjack strategy chart accurate for that particular game. The Strategy Engine was the main attraction when the site was first created in 1996, and it continues to be a popular part of the site.
In addition, there’s a free Blackjack Strategy Trainer game that allows you to practice for any set of rules, and the Strategy Coach advises you of any basic strategy mistakes for that particular game.
There are lots of sites out there offering blackjack strategies, but BlackjackInfo remains the best place to get strategies customized for any game.
Slot Charts.com is truly a one-of-a-kind site. It offers a unique perspective on online casino progressive jackpots. For each game, you can see the current value, but also a lot of information about past history. You’ll see the average hit value, how long it’s been since the last jackpot and how long it typically lasts before being hit.
In addition, you can see a graph of the values over the last few months. One of the most popular features of the site is a list of progressive video poker games on the Net, ranked by percentage return. At a glance, you can see which games offer the best opportunities online.
Blackjack Tournaments.com is the newest addition, launching in November 2003. It’s a growing community of avid tournament players, sharing blackjack information and strategies.
Q: Any comments as to the current state of play regarding the online gaming industry?
A: The online gaming industry continues to struggle due to the legislative uncertainties in the US. It’s a real pity that the US hasn’t stepped in to create a regulatory environment where the industry could thrive. It seems ironic to me that players have a better shot at winning online, as many of the games offer odds more favorable than land-based casinos, yet the current US government policies cast such a shadow over online gaming that most players aren’t willing to participate.
A recent Gallup poll shows that only 1 percent of Americans wager online. There’s a big market there, and I’d love to see the floodgates opened.
Q: Is there anything else you would like to add that is pertinent to yourwork online or off?
A: An exciting recent development for me is my participation in a televised blackjack tournament for GSN, the former Game Show Network. Episodes are currently airing several times per week, with a new premier each Monday evening on GSN
My episode will first broadcast on April 12th, 2004. Check your listings for “World Series of Blackjack”.
♠ Very much obliged to you for answering my questions Ken.
Gamblog Comment:
I will add Ken is very much on the ball and is a player advocate who recently highlighted a half a million dollar glitch perpetrated by the Playtech Software Platform, which due to his due diligence was cleared up to the players satisfaction no sweat.
